Now Abbott catch Pfizeritis - hundreds of drug rep layoffs

Fallout from the Kos acquisition, they say.

An Abbott spokesman confirmed the layoffs from the primary care sales force to Ed Siverman at Pharmalot/Star-Ledger, but declined to provide any specifics or that the layoffs represent 20 percent of the combined primary care sales forces.

There's that magic number again!
