Business Week reports that Janet Ruhl may be Pfizer's worst nightmare.
Ruhl, who injects a small amount of insulin each day to control her diabetes, has been dissing Pfizer's soon-to-debut diabetes remedy on her new blog and on a Web discussion group.
Exubera, is the first product that lets diabetics inhale insulin powder rather than inject the drug.
But Ruhl, a 57-year-old software developer and author from Gill, Mass., says she thinks Exubera will be hard to use and could cause lung damage. "It looks like a terrible idea," Ruhl says.
Pfizer executives have told Wall Street analysts Exubera could ultimately bring in $2 billion a year in sales. But amid mounting resistance from patients and physicians, some analysts now wonder if it will be worth even half that much. "We feel they will fail to gain traction," says Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. analyst Richard T. Evans.

You think you are hurting
Pfizer....no U idiots you are hurting the american PGM workers and the possibility of future cures...All these lies just cost another 1000 american jobs....way to go assholes.
From One of the dedicated people in Terra Haute Site who may be out of a job I guess i will go back to generics manufacturing where quality is a joke and all they ever cared about was getting it out the door and making profit. Pfizer quality standards are heads and shoulders above all other companies, they care so much about the end customers, its a shame you throw stones.
You know nothing every customer I heard about loved the product, too bad you ignorant bastards didn't even try it seen it never mind give it a fair shot....you should be ashamed, the small rural town where Larry Bird went to college will also suffer, to see those people crying (Im from NYC on temp assignment) after being told to go home thursday am after the announcement.
I hope you are proud of yourself you slandered away their jobs, and maybe mine, I luckly have transferable skills set unlike most of the employee of Terra Haute
