His near absence of Pharmaceutical experience is a good sign that Pfizer is doomed.
He can't understand how the industry works. What's he going to base his decisions on? Hank's leadership? The same crew of idiots that served under Hank? McDonald's?
"His near absence of Pharmaceutical experience is a good sign that Pfizer is doomed."
There are so many signs that Pfizer is doomed: lack of vision from the management, lack for seriousness in HR, lack of comitment from employees, old Warner Lambert/Pharmacia project brought back from the dead, etc.
"He can't understand how the industry works."
Neither do most of the "project managers" or whatever they are called...
Pfizer has one essential problem: no valuable idea comes from a technocratic/bureaucratic/metric system.
