Sanofi-Aventis would consider acquiring a medium-sized Japanese laboratory if the opportunity arises, according to Philippe Fauchet, managing director of the group's Japanese subsidiary.
Speaking on the sidelines of a press conference in Japan, Fauchet told Agence France-Presse 'our strategy consists first and foremost of growing through our own resources; however if an opportunity arises we are prepared to take a look.'
