Whatever happens with torcetrapib, though, Dr. John LaMattina says he intends to remain as Pfizer’s research chief for several more years, perhaps until he reaches the mandatory retirement age of 65.
“I’m going to stay for a while,” he said, “because I’ve been around for all the crummy stuff, and this is going to be good.”
