Novartis is unlikely to reach its target of bringing eight new drug to US and European markets this year, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported, citing Thomas Ebeling, head of the Swiss company's pharmaceuticals division.
It said in comments made by Ebeling to analysts, the company will probably launch five new products in the US this year.
Novartis chief executive Daniel Vasella released the target of eight new drugs in the US and Europe along with full-year results in January this year, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung said.
