Isn't there some ancient greek saying that goes along the lines of "who the gods want to destroy, they first drive them crazy"
I think many pharma companies seem to suffer from the hubristic notion that whatever they push will go through, regardless of reality. I have a feeling that they are increasingly pushing on a string.
