Bear Stearns biotech analyst Mark Schoenebaum's gallows humor

Schoenebaum, 32, who earned a BA in history and music from Indiana University in 1995 and an M.D. from Johns Hopkins University in 2000, went straight into biotech equity research, first at CIBC, then at Piper Jaffray. He joined Bear Stearns in July 2004. Clients who receive what one calls his "extensive and welcome" background materials often find themselves well briefed when news breaks.
