Internet Drug News - the head honcho writes

Open Letter

from: Corey Nahman, Publisher & Webmaster of http://coreynahman.com/

Honorable colleagues: Since going on line in 1999, CoreyNahman.com/ InternetDrugNews.com has served more than half a billion pages of information. Important people use this site every day BUT - we are not getting the gravitas we deserve in terms of Google ranking. Google ranks us as a 6 on a scale of 1-10. That's pretty crappy for a site with our tenure and reputation.

Similar sites have a Google rank of 8 or 9.

How can you help?

The best way to increase our ranking is to increase the number of sites that link to us. When you post a link to this site from your site, article or blog, Google reads that as an endorsement; your action in interpreted that our site is so valuable that you took the time to post a link.

We can tell from our logs that high powered bloggers and organizations such as Ivy League and other universities, medical schools, ad agencies, drug companies, PBM's, teaching hospitals, K-Street Lobbyists, Wall Streeters, news media outlets, policy makers, attorneys and government regulatory agencies visit our site every day few of you link to us.

It's not fair. If you use this site please return the favor and vote for us by linking to us.

Why is this important? The higher the ranking the more we can charge for ads. Traffic is growing steadily but our ad revenues are sliding because of our mediocre ranking. The current situation is not sustainable.

Please help us - post a link to our site from your site so that our rank will increase. I have been helping you do your job for 10 years; now it is time to repay me by posting a link to us.I need to get this site to a rank of 8. If you don't help me out, I am going to have to take this site off-line or sell it. I put lots of time into this site but the ROI is not where it needs to be. We can get to an popularity ranking of 8 but only if you help.

Every link counts. PLEASE link to us today (did I mention Please?)

Thank you,
Sincerely,

Corey Nahman
