The European Commission said on Tuesday it had raided a number of pharmaceutical companies across the European Union on suspicion they were pursuing restrictive practices. 'The European Commission can confirm that on 24 November Commission officials started inspections in several member states at the premises of a number of pharmaceutical companies,' it said in a statement.
