Corey Nahman on Pfizer

Pfizer's frequent attempts to differentiate Lipitor from other statins combined with CEO Kindler's statements regarding the "New Pfizer" and that whole gestalt leads us to believe Pfizer will be the 800 lb generic Lipitor manufacturer when the patent expires. Kindler is pragmatic; he seems savy enough to go mano-a-mano with the Mylans and Tevas of the world. With all that CASH they are sitting on, it's not much of a stretch to see Pfizer even buying out Teva or Barr. They bought Parke Davis to get at Lipitor; why not buy Barr or Teva to get at generic Lipitor?
