Warning letters are issued as frequently as one breathes.

They are not a deterrent, just as a settlement is not.

They mean nothing, except for the warning letters being advantageous to the competitors of the product and company that is issued such a letter.

Same goes for warning letters issued to institutional review boards, contract research organizations, and clinical trial invesigators.

No investigations are conducted, and no behavior is discontnued.

Sanofi blatently lie about their side effects. I was given a chemo drug Taxotere. My hair has not returned and i have been told by my oncologist (after he spoke to Sanofi) that its permanent. Sanofi say it only happens in 3% (first lie)and this3% is from an old study. Even if it was 3% (which it most certainly is not)its classed as 'common or frequent' but in the next paragraph in a letter i have from them its says extremeley rare. It would then have to be less than 0.01%. Sanofi are trying to keep this side effect hushed up as they dont want it common knowledge. I belong to a support group which contains women from all over the worl all suffering from this problem after Taxotere. In France now they are making a study to get the correct% as they now also believe Sanofi have lied about the stats. Sanofi do not even list this as a possible side effect -how can they get away with this!
