All true, since this was done in 2006, a few minor changes on pens, trips etc. However the biggest issue with pharma promotion is still alvie and well, it comes in at 45 minutes into the video. The pharma cos are experts at forming emotional "relationships" with prescribers that create an emotional quid pro qou. This is the great secret to pharma sales - putting an emotional obligation on the MD. It happens every call and is so subtle, no one ever admits or even knows they are being twisted in this manner.
