Astrazeneca workers have agreed to suspend their five week protest over pension schemes so 'calm' talks with AZ bosses can take place.The GMB has agreed to halt the industrial action, which has included seven days of strikes and a ban on overtime, until a formal meeting takes place on Monday.
In a letter to union members, Neil Holder GMB regional officer said he hopes the meeting will resolve the dispute.
