In Novartis Sex Discrimination Case, Lawyers Get $40M But Women Get Just $16K | BNET
This is completely standard. You didn't think the ambulance chasers were really looking out for the "victims", did you? I didn't think the plaintiffs had a strong case anyway, but I hope future plaintiffs heed this warning: never join the class of a class action suit. The class members get pennies and the ambulance chasers get millions. If you have a legitimate case, file your own case--don't join a class action!!
