Think the FDA is protecting you in China and India?

As things now stand, the FDA still cannot require pharmaceutical companies to recall drugs that are contaminated. The agency also lacks the resources to do more frequent inspections of plants, especially overseas. A recent Government Accountability Office report found that at the current rate it would take the FDA eight and a half years to inspect all of the drug-making facilities in India and about 18 years to check all those in China.

They can't even keep Puerto Rico up to standard!
