SAN FRANCISCO -- Gilead Sciences Inc. said late Friday that it has received a subpoena from the Attorney's Office for the Northern District of California for documents related to the manufacture and quality and distribution practices for several drugs including Atripla, Emtriva, Hepsera, Letairis, Truvada, and Viread. The Justice Department is also requesting information on the company's investigational fixed-dose combination of Truvada and Edurant. Gilead did not elaborate on the probe but said it is cooperating with the investigation.
