Universities UK, the Higher Education Funding Council for England, Research Councils UK, the Wellcome Trust and other stakeholders are seeking views on a draft Concordat to Support Research Integrity.
From the Universities UK website: ‘The concordat outlines five important commitments that those engaged in research can make to help ensure that the highest standards of rigour and integrity are maintained. It also makes a clear statement about the responsibilities of researchers, employers and funders of research in maintaining high standards in research.’
Given the potential significance of the Concordat, we would encourage you to respond to the consultation so the development process is informed by as wide a range of views as possible.
