J&J - worth every cent?


Johnson & Johnson said Wednesday that Chairman and Chief Executive William C. Weldon received total pay valued at $28.6 million for 2006.


Weldon's compensation included $9.2 million in option awards, $7.5 million in non-equity incentive plan pay and $2 million in stock awards.


The CEO's pay also included $5.5 million under change in pension value and nonqualified deferred-compensation earnings. He received a salary of $1.7 million for the year.
