Meet Glenn M. Engelmann everyone.
Glenn serves as general counsel for AstraZeneca US, while managing a diverse organization that builds relationships with key policy, scientific, medical, and regulatory decision makers throughout the US healthcare community.
Glenn joined the law department of Zeneca (then ICI Americas Inc.) in 1986, providing legal advice principally for the pharmaceuticals business. From 1990 to 1991, he served as counsel to the advanced materials business, and, in 1991, he was appointed Group Counsel for Zeneca Pharmaceuticals. Engelmann was appointed Vice President-General Counsel and Secretary for Zeneca in 1993.
Glenn has a Bachelor's degree in political science, State University of New York at Binghamton, a Juris doctorate, University of Chicago Law School and is a Member of the board of directors for the Jewish Federation of Delaware.
Why is Glenn PharmaGossip's "man of the hour" ?
Well, Glenn is named in this document as being AstraZeneca's Compliance Officer for their Corporate Integrity Agreement with the Office of the Inspector General, following there last little, ahem, little spot of trouble.
