GSK - Cervarix: our thoughts today are with the family of Natalie Morton

Cervarix "may" save up to 700 deaths from cervical cancer a year...

...and so far has caused 400 cases of anaphylactic shock in the same patient population.

I guess that's still a positive.

I'm also guessing that GSK doesn't tell its customers that they are only four times less likely to die from the cure as they are the disease.

What is the purpose of having a mass vaccination campaign for a condition that has a relatively low (and falling) mortality rate...

...unless the prime purpose of Cervarix is really to make lots of money for GSK?
