GSK and Pfizer snuggle up over AIDS


Drug giants GlaxoSmithKline and Pfizer plan to combine their HIV-drug businesses into a new company, according to people familiar with the matter.

The deal marks a rare moment of cooperation between pharmaceutical rivals. Glaxo will get 85% of the joint venture and Pfizer 15%, these people said.
