LOLPharma contd. GSK reps to get the easy life!

Bonuses for reps at GlaxoSmithKline will soon be based on customer feedback and adherence to company policy, not sales targets. The move promises to transform sales & marketing, but the company offered few details about how the plan will be implemented.

GSK has a plan to convert the majority of their sales force to contract employees. This s just one step in that direction.

This is going to be the industry standard as Pfizer has also begun the process of converting to contractors.

It just doesn't make sense for big pharma to pay sales reps anymore.
