ASTRAZENECA is to cut about 225 jobs in its UK sales and marketing division after warning staff that a string of major patent losses will result in drastically reduced sales over the next three years.
The pharmaceutical giant told staff in its Luton-based sales and marketing organisation that UK topline sales are set to fall by £350 million by 2014 from £690 million in 2010.
